Stridor

Stridor is a high-pitched wheezing sound resulting from turbulent air flow in the upper airway.

Its an emergency.

 Causes : 

1. Congenital :

  • Laryngomalacia
  • Laryngeal Webs

2. Infectious :
  • CROUP ( Laryngo-tracheal Bronchitis)
  • Epiglottitis
  • Laryngeal Diphtheria
